Here are some of my most often referred-to resources. I use them in my practice — so I recommend them to you! If you buy through these links, I may earn an affiliate commission. Regardless of commission, I recommend them!
I use Dabble instead of Scrivener or documents when I’m drafting because:
No learning curve! It’s intuitive and easy to use.
It’s web-based, meaning I can use it anywhere, even on mobile. It’s not a program that’s downloaded to one computer.
I can move content around modularly (instead of scrolling/hunting through docs).
I can collaborate with others on a project (just like in Word or Docs).
It has a read-aloud feature!

Set Yourself Up for Writing Success (And Get Out of Your Own Way)

Session Description:
The start of a new year is a great time for writers to set goals: you may want to start and/or finish a draft, find a literary agent, and get published. With goal-setting, of course, comes fear and doubt and resistance. Not to mention the fact that outcomes rely, for example, on market conditions, industry trends, and individual agent or editor preferences, all of which are beyond our control.
How can we crush our writing goals without getting crushed by fear, doubt, resistance, and conditions beyond our control?
In this session, Amy Goldmacher will take you through an interactive process that will give you tools to:
● Get really clear in a tangible way to set – and achieve – your goals for the year
● Increase your creativity confidence
● Normalize the writer’s rollercoaster of emotions
● Identify and manage resistance when it inevitably comes up
You’ll leave with practical techniques and resources you can use immediately, along with the mindset shifts you need for writing success, so you can live your most productive and creative life and reach your literary goals in 2023 and beyond.
