Willing vs ready

This original decision tree making the rounds on LinkedIn is funny - because it reflects how busy we all are and how little time we have to take on new things. BUT. I would say, for a huge, complex, involved, consuming project like a book, consider whether you are WILLING to invest your time and effort, rather than waiting until you have time or feel ready. Because you’ll never feel ready. Is writing your book important to you? Have you wanted to write it for a long time? Are you willing to make it happen?
