I have exciting news!

Terms & Conditions: A Glossary will be published by Stanchion Books on October 6, 2026!

I started working on this project in 2019. I started sending out the manuscript to small presses in mid-2022. On January 24, 2025, I signed a contract with Stanchion.

87 submissions, 77 rejections, 9 withdrawals, and 1 acceptance.

It is not unusual for a (traditionally published) book to take this long to write, edit, revise, submit, wait, revise, submit, wait, revise, submit, cry, rage, wait, wait, wait, wait, cry, and wait until the book comes out.

I’ll tell you more about what goes into the coaching, editing, and submission processes as publication gets closer — we have lots of time to dig into all of it.

Until then, I’ll use this opportunity to say that two major revisions were accomplished while on writing retreats — perfect opportunities to focus on the revising of the manuscript.

Finally, to have found the perfect home for this tiny book of my heart: it’s for fatherless daughters, anxiety sufferers, and women in middle age and beyond who are learning how embrace the uncertainty of the second half of life and let go of what no longer serves them.
