And just like that, it’s September
September snuck up on me. There are no cues in Florida that the season is changing. It’s still summer hot (and will be until November). The (palm) leaves don’t change color. I don’t see school buses making rounds twice a day.
The only reason I know it’s September is because suddenly I’m super busy! Three writers are starting work on book proposals with me. I've signed up for two classes this month, a class next month, and a three-month program that runs from September to November. And everything I kicked down the road from quarters 1, 2, and 3 of this year needs to be done/is coming back to haunt me.
So I’ll leave you with these two resources that I found super helpful, in case you find yourself feeling motivated by the start of fall and looking at the things you want to achieve by the end of the year:
A quick way to evaluate your nonfiction book idea. Ask yourself these 5 questions.
