Book coincidences?

Let me know if this is a thing: book coincidences. Here's two that happened within days of each other.

1. I read Encyclopedia of an Ordinary Life by Amy Krouse Rosenthal. On p.222 she mentions her writer pal, the author John Green. The very next book in my TBR pile is John Green's new book, The Anthropocene Reviewed.

2. I read Jenny Lewis' Gilgamesh Retold because I'm working on a piece about the loss of my father and she acknowledges Blake Morrison, the author of And When Did You Last See Your Father?, the book that found me soon after my father died.

Do you believe in book coincidences, and has it happened to you? #amwriting
